I would like to introduce myself to you.  I am Larry Alexander owner of The Sports Studio.  I am a photographer of 13 years taking Team and Individual pictures of Little Leagues, High Schools and grade schools. I have worked with youth for 38 years.  I started coaching my senior year in 1976 Graduating from Silver Creek High School.  Involved with the New Albany Deanery as a Parish Rep. for St. Joseph Church. Coaching 7^th and 8^th grade Boys basketball as well as being Deanery Rep.

In the year 1988 I Received the John Bosco award the highest award that the Deanery gives to adult volunteers.  Coached 7^th and 8^th basketball for 16 years.  When my son started the 3^rd grade at St. Paul school in Sellersburg I switched to coaching 3^rd grade basketball and baseball at Silver Creek (T-Ball) my son played till the major league.  He is 37 years of age now and I also have a daughter that is 32.  When he started playing basketball I took the responsibility of Athletic Director/ Deanery Rep for St. Paul school and still Deanery Rep for St. Joseph Church My daughter followed my son by 5 years.  I coached them both thru 8^th grade in basketball as well as Track.  My son attended Providence Jr. High 7^th and 8^th grade year at that time I took on Deanery Rep. for the Jr. High at Providence still Rep. for St. Joseph Church and St. Paul School.  My daughter attended Our Lady Of Perpetual Help 7^th and 8^th grade which I coached as well as the other jobs that I still did.  After putting in 30 years as a volunteer with the New Albany deanery I received a National award “The For God and Youth Award. When my daughter became freshman at Providence High School this is when I started taking pictures.

I worked for Duke Energy (40 years) and have retired and just went full time Photography.  The Sports Studio INC. is family owned with my wife, daughter and help consisting of Teachers and high school students.  I prefer not to use fake backdrops.  A list of jobs that we have done and some have contracts with:

(Union Volleyball) The last year five hundred kids shot in ten hours and pictures returned in two weeks. I had an extra photographer and 7 others working as well.

We have a smooth operation:  everything is done in house:

I like to get rosters of teams and personalize order forms (Team name player name and number)

I give them back to you rubber banded per team so that they can be given to the coach.

We show up 1-1/2 hours before shoot to set up and can shoot a team of 12-15 every 15 min.  Sometimes we like a few min. more to work with the younger ones.

Pictures are printed at The Print Refinery in Louisville Kentucky.

Orders are put together in house and rubber banded per team and given back to you within two weeks.

As a fundraiser one year contract 15% two year 18% and a 3 year 20% off the top of orders

As a good Faith gesture I will give 20% first year without contract.

I changed prices once in 11 years. (This is the first year increasing 2018)
